The Geographical disparities in fab and the inverse fabs rule.

One proposes that the level that others fancies you increases as the further you travel from your home location.

One finds that the vast majority of fabs, messages, winks etc one receives tend to come from other fabbers who live large distances away. I have noted that one tends to rate relatively highly amongst the lovely ladies of Scotland and the north of England.

On the same not I have also just realised that I don’t get many fabs winks etc from anyone further south than me, and generally not from the south west.

How do you lovely folks find geography affects your fabbing? Do you find similar things?

The nerdy part of me is almost inclined to plot it...

It does seem pretty common to fancy people who are too far away for a regular meet.

As for winks and messages - we mostly get those from northerners, but when we travel down south (and change our location accordingly) we don't see a noticeable drop off. If anything, messages increase the closer we get to London.

1127 walnut avenue

with a lot it's flirting with distance as a safety net.. thinking well I'm 200 plus miles away.. hey they're unlikely to visit.. so time and time again.. i get it's a shame you're so far away.. imagine one persons surprise when i mentioned that i actually had a friend in the county they came from who i stay with now and again.. so a visit would be no problem...that was over a year ago.. I'm still waiting for a reply

Just tied to it being less of a risk to do it?

As in you know there’ll be no meet so what’s the harm? No need to follow through or anything. That’s sounds harsher than I mean but I think it’s possibly true.

Very true.

Although, I do think there's genuine levels of higher attraction for people further away. I think people scrutinize those they probably won't meet because of distance less than those they actually have to consider for a meet. So there's a level of "the grass is greener" partly because we aren't as critical about those we don't see any future with.

I like the unobtainable, so it seems. Virtually un reachable makes them even more fanciable.

When they don't know I exist, I almost crave them.

Do you ever go as far to book hotels or visit places further afield?

Swindon

Geometry. And probability.

Or a worldwide fab conspiracy.

One of the two.

Probably the second. I don’t trust experts.

I don't think there's any correlation between the level of attraction and distance. Seems sporadic to me.

That said; I do have the hots for certain northerners

I think it is very much the case.

The few that are on my friends list are all on the wrong side of the Irish Sea.

Well I imagine there are other influencers too.

Forum interaction greatly increases fab interaction I think everyone can agree on that.

But if I look at my local updates I can’t actually remember seeing any post in the forums.

Seems like a plausible reason

I go as far as check google maps and check out nearby hotels/prices, I work out travel plans and such on the internet looking at possible train timetables...I then get distracted and start buying things from EBay.

It's fabs own way of bringing the whole country closer together. Bridging the gap between the counties with one sexy meet at a time

Haha yeah I get that.

I’m not sure I’d trust the meet taking place enough to go through all that. Although I suppose if you just do meets as a secondary part of the visit you’d probably be less disappointed I guess
