If you were invited to someones house.. you got on, (really well.. lol) and the drinks were flowing say, would you tell your hosts you didn't like the drinks offered up pmsl....

Reason we ask.... We have had a lovely couple visit us twice, we all chat easy.. drinks have flowed nicely.. Me a nice ice cold Magners.. The girls had enjoyed some nice Vodkas and tonics... He'd been sitting drinking stella.. but drinks Magners too and said nothing lol... Twice, pmsl...

I'd have said.. I think so anyway, were surprised he didn't.. We had plenty lol.

Would you tell your hosts... I mean, if you can sit and enjoy all your hosts charms and we do mean all lol.. surely you can say, I'd prefer a magners mate

we have only entertained at our house n been to a cpl of parties ,but tend to ask what there tipple is before they come to ours so we know what to get in. we allways take what we like to drink to parties so if they got nowt we like at least we got summat to drink.i think that works best for us xxxx

We always take some drink with us and find out what they drink too

poor guy must have been nervous

The answer to this question depends on many things.

How well you know then, are they touchy, do you care?

But I would personally take something to most events that I like.

Me my self I would ask people what they liked prior to or have plenty of choice in. I do like the odd drop.

But if it was likely to offend I wouldn’t ay a thing.

Touchy.. No, far from, funny chatty and fun. We always care how people feel... hate the thought anyone would be uncomfortable.. even if we didn't like them much thats true...

We did ask... they bought wine....

Its not a major thing, they are laughing now...

as its very rare we are able to accomodate when we are invited to someones home we always ask what they would like us to bring, if its something we aren't keen on we'll also take our own tipple too.

If anyone is asking a Sparkling Water for K and a nice Shiraz for me
