We're in that weird in between Christmas and new year time where most people have time to sit and think.

I was just wondering what's been the best thing thats happened to you this year?

I don't wantto know the worst thing as that van be a bit too personal forsome so instead i'll ask what you would change?

I’ve found myself in a place where I’m happy which isn’t something I saw coming.

Not sure I would change anything as it has all played a part in the path to the place I am now.

The best thing by far was finding my job and having a purpose again, I promised myself I would never get to deep into a job again where it consumes me but I can’t help it as I love it so much!!

Geeky x

My best thing comes out of my worst thing. I've learnt that I have some amazing friends that I can confide in who don't judge and just listen and let me cry. I've learnt that I'm stronger than I thought and right when I was told I was wrong. I've learnt forgiveness and not letting bitterness take over. I've learnt that some of these friends come in the form of faceless strangers I'll probably never meet.

Best Greggs in Cheshire East

Best thing was finally getting together with someone who I have known a few years. A fleeting daliance but wonderful.

You didn't want the bad thing but it's part of my year. That was the death of a close friend a few weeks ago.

The best thing has been building my confidence and making some fabulous new friends. Plus the month I spent in Turkey.

I'd change the fact that I'm not still in Turkey.

I met Tom, good for me, he may disagree.

Bad... Um trying to adjust without my Mum, since she's gone i've lost my confidence and I feel I've lost me.

Personal achievement was taking part in events where I pushed physical and mental limits.

Best thing about the year, I've got to the end of it and my family are here and healthy.

The best thing was spending time with my family in Australia at the beginning of the year. The rest of the year fell apart after that

Hopefully next year will be better

Hiding in the shadows

This year, has been a year of bests!

So many amazing things have happened, each one I've thought "wow" then something else has occurred.

Joining here, has definitely been a big wow.

I've learnt so much about myself, almost like the final piece of the puzzle, putting my life back together.

Can't wait to see what 2018 will bring x

Bloody hell! I am so sorry for your loss and the same to all of you who have seen friends and loved ones leave you over the course of the past year.

Best thing personally was winning a championship with my crew.

Worst? Family stuff that I don't need to talk about here.

Probably my long term sex partner saying he loved me. I panicked a bit at first, but it didn't change our relationship; just the intensity of the sex.

It's nice to be adored.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I've survived this very strange year, I am healthier than I have ever been and I have finally made the first step to re-inventing my professional self.

I'm fatter than I have ever been and have less patience for some of the games people play on here so I've spent much of this year hidden and sexually frustrated.

Best thing- I got something I've wanted for a ridiculously long time.

Worst thing- I lost it again.
