Nothing out of the ordinary. It used to be fun going out, but it's become a hugely overhyped, overpriced, let down in recent years.

My birthday (hint hint) follows very soon after anyway so that gets celebrated instead (hint hint)

Bowling with the kids late afternoon, steak for dinner then probably to our local. Will be home before midnight though because of the little people. That's fine though, wouldn't want them to witness any d*unken behaviour!!

A small twist on the usual: being the only single person without school-age children at a local party. The twist is that it's a different host this year.

I,m going to sleep at 10pm. Last year I had a brilliant evening chatting to my then FWB I adored, about all our plans and what we were going to do, 3 days he pissed off to the vanilla world for his big romance (it didn't last long though), he denied he'd even chatted to me New Year's Eve. Fuck New Year's Eve, it's bollocks.XXX

Townhouse for us, a night of dancing and debauchery oh and a buffet, bloody hell its a good buffet

We went out for the first time last year in about 17 years, bloody loved it, can’t wait to do it all again, Vicky does do an amazing New Years party

We will spend the day celebrating new year with the small people and do them a pizza party early on, but they are always fast asleep by 11, and as they have all grown up, we’ve stopped feeling guilty about being out, generally and on New Year’s Eve, I couldn’t leave the house up until the last twelve months as I felt I needed to be here, but I’m getting there, and it’s not made me the worst parent ever, so I don’t feel to bad now Mrs blue eyes

Staying in. Not a fan of nye since I was hospitalised many years ago on my way home from a party.

Normally go to a not new year eve club night in London which is always a few days before or after which is half the price and less d*unken tossers at every turn. But on doctors orders to not over exert myself so that rules out clubbing till 6 in the morning!

Not sure yet. I can't be doing with pubs in town, paying through the nose just to get in to some shit dive. Fighting through the throngs of idiots hugging the bar then battling to get the bar staff's attention away from their mates.

Hoping to go out for drinks still though, just maybe a nice quiet country pub and I'm going to be des anyhow.
