Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

London is only due sleet in the early hours. It'll just be wet here.

Enjoy your snow.

My Father in law will be pleased as it'll mean he can go another year without visiting.

Just read about the snow in Birmingham... great to look at, a bugger for getting about in. I was also reading about Pennsylvania too having 54 inches of snowfall in a day... wow!

I think it would put a permanent end to civilisation as we know it, for ever.

My Mum had a winter like that, before your time though in 1959 I think, I love the idea of being snowed in for a prolonged time but I guess the novelty would soon wear off.

I remember reading about a big freeze in 1963 that meant football and rugby seasons had to be extended to fit all the cancelled fixtures in

"Apologies, that 54 inches fell over 2 days.. still a lot of snow though!"

People would still be complaining that the schools were closed over here.

I NEVER understand that... When we were kids we went to school snow or no snow... We're rearing a load of namby pamby wusses these days if you ask me... And it's still my opinion if you don't
