Why do we repeatedly waste our time...

...telling blokes what's wrong with their profiles and why they aren't getting responses?

Everyday some sap comes on here whingeing, and every day we give them the same feedback and advice.

Single guys getting no luck... read the previous threads on this subject and stop wasting our time.

The only person who can answer that is you. If doing it bothers you that much, stop.

You're under no obligation to give the advice.

Know what you mean - although guess ultimately it comes down to trying to be helpful to others, at least that's why I do it. Although as 9/10 times the advice is ignored I do wonder why I bother

Newer users aren't always aware of the forum search function right off the bat and they haven't seen the repeated threads either..it's all new to them...

It does get repetitive but that's what happens with new folk

I work gigs and have for years and always have to stop myself thinking 'jesus! Ain't you lot worked out how to behave yet!'

Just because it's my twentieth time round the circuit, doesn't mean it's everyone else's

I've been on here for years but I still remember how crap it was being a newbie.

I don't like profile advice threads though. I'm a boring old bag. If I did my profile up all jazzy like on the advice threads, people would be expecting to meet someone interesting. It's false advertising.

I think you're very rude and heartless OP. Fab members are humans. If a new person wishes to ask for advice then why shouldn't they. Yes it gets posted a lot but so do a lot of other subjects. You don't have to respond to any of them.

It's getting a bit boring now though, all these Saps posting whingeing threads complaining about other threads. So here's my forum advice to you OP. If you don't like a thread pass it by.

because you love feeling superior to others maybe because you don't have to work as hard at it ,let's face it who ever takes good advice eg its bad to smoke you should give that up ,don't eat cake you'll get fat ,wear sun cream or you'll get cancer ,don't run by side of pool you'll slip etc etc

I don't give out advice on profiles. Judging by the state of my own i just don't feel qualified.

The more years you are on forum the more you see the same old subjects repeated.

Rather than moaning, just move on and don't contribute!

It's hardly worth getting pissed off by it, is it?

I dont mind,as long as they take the advice and do something with it,rather than repeatedly starting threads.

Oh there there.

Hope that helps. If your happy giving advice you should have no trouble in taking it from other members.

In this case its: don't get involved in those threads or name calling
