Neither of us can chew the toffees, we're too afraid of damaging our exorbitantly expensive crowns. . So they get left until we're really desperate, round about 28th December when we gingerly suck them .

My favourite in any box or tin of chocolates is the strawberry one.

I love this about the toffees, we are the same, but we save them up and give them to the grandchildren, some have teeth marks in them, where we've forgotten that they're too hard!

The tin or as it is now flimsy, plastic receptacle, is not as big as it used to be I can tell you! When I was a kid and all this was fields they were half my height, full to the brim, cost twopence halfpenny and lasted a family of eight until February.
