Sequels that are as good or even better than the original...

For me, I love, LOVE the Men In Black films, the Hellboy films and the Toy Story films... I'd even go as far to say that I sometimes prefer the sequels to the originals.

Definitely approved.

I only discovered them a couple of months ago and fell in love, though I haven't seen three. Ironic that I don't like sci fi films but Alien is now one of my favourite horrors.

Watch the third, it's entertaining as a standalone. But steer clear of 'resurrection', it's terrible.

I LIKED Resurrection! Ron Perlman, Winona Ryder,written by Joss Whedon. What else do you need?

For it to have been directed by someone else. It was a bit to artsy for my liking.

Nods, that final tears and silently edited scream and then turn up, ch*kes me though. But yes, you make a good point in comparison to the others. Two is by far the best, all three together trumps two on its own though.

I thought Men in Black 3 was the best one! Both Hellboy's were great....and then there's The Empire Strikes Back!!
