Why do people wish the year away? Winter is a lovely season, topped off by the snow this year. Enjoy the season we are in, don't wish for the year to be half over before it's begun.

Oh it's not the season, it's the short days, I used to shy away from the sun but as I'm getting older, it's like my body craves it!

Winter is a flipping awful season,I hate wearing layers of clothes and I can’t afford to have the heating on loads. It's grey,wet and damn right miserable

I've just come back from Trondheim in Norway - way, way North and it was 'daylight' for about 1 hour a day. Pitch black at 11am and again at 2pm. The sun never got above the horizon.

Now that's depressing ! But only if you want it to be. I love the isolation
