Yorkshire Puddings

Another food related thread triggered us to post this.

We will have Yorkshire puddings on all roast dinners, with a casserole, with sausages, and we used to even have them as a starter to the roast dinner, yet a family member will only have them with roast beef.

Maybe it's because we are from Yorkshire after all.

How about you guys?

Yummy with everything

Lacey is the queen of Yorkshire puds, they’re as big as your plate and rise up further than Jim’s erection !

Traffic land

Yorkshire puds and roasties are my favourite items on a roast dinner, so they will definitely be a part of my dinner. Home made though, not ready made, yuk!

It brings a tear to my eye when I see ready made Yorkshire puds. Like ready made mash or wedges. Literally just don't see the point, it's not difficult.

But definitely only eaten with roast beef or sausages.

Always have yorky puds here with every roast dinner, chicken, pork, lamb, duck and beef. Great to pile a load of veg on when they are crispy and a bit of gravy before it it makes them soggy mmmmmmmmm.

Toad in the hole as well, it wouldn't be one without the hole

If it's got gravy it has to have a Yorkshire pudding and mint sauce!

Up on them there hills

L uses them with Thai green curry, me personally, think we should build up the walls and use the traditionaly as a savoury starter, or main course and then with golden syrup as pudding.
