Well that was odd??

Just had a couple about mid 40's I would say Carol singing at our door, we sometimes get the kids knocking but Adults

We had some lads of about 17 one year and that was a bit strange too.

I didn't know what to do to be honest, we would normally give kids sweets or a bit loose change but just thought WTF to be honest

We had some teens a few years ago. They sounded terrible but I'm sure they appreciated my warmed up mince pies!!

no they were well dressed in North face and Berghaus clothes etc , just thought it very strange

I suppose they could have fallen on hard times since they bought them.

Did they sing carols as opposed to Christmas songs? Maybe they were spreading the Christian message.

I would have found it just as strange as you though.

Away in a Manger it was, they wernt bad and I sent them on their way with a hot cup of Ribena Winter Spice

they didn't have any ID or collecting tin, they were just a young well dressed couple belting out away in a manger, never spoke, just said thanks when I gave then their Ribena

We used to do it with neighbors for charity, including some high profile celebrities - we always had some drinks and nibbles as we went around . It may not be suspicious

How many of you though , we have had a group of adults call before from the local Salvation army , but this was just 2 random people
