I love ladies with soft Irish, Welsh or Scottish accents, especially if they are talking quietly. On the other hand, I hate hearing a South African accent, male or female! Just too "grating"!

As regular visitors to Glasgow and Edinburgh (and other Scottish towns and cities), educated is educated, Glasgow or Edinburgh, same as Received Pronunciation in England. Not fond of chav (or Ned) speak at all.

Edinburgh has a lot of accents really. Like London.

I don't have a favourite accent as such but I do like a cheeky northerner whispering in my ear.

British accent - Yorkshire, I mean come on we can sound like Jon Snow and Ned Stark if you are from the right neck of the woods.

I do like any posh or west country accent on women though. Well spoken posh older women make me think bad things, and young women from the west country sound too innocent

Elsewhere, I like all the scandi accents, they go from happy to flirty, to devilish in 2 sentences.

Spanish and Italian accents also get me going.

"I don't have a favourite accent as such but I do like a cheeky northerner whispering in my ear.

What I really dislike is when I get a message and they think their accent is their USP.

' Hi I'm......, I'm Irish'.....and??"

Funny that....I am an accent snob too.....and that would get my back up straight away ...

"Received Pronunciation , Home Counties.

French

Polish/Russian Female

Mid Atlantic /American

Educated Scots.

Educated Scots?

I'm assuming you mean Edinburgh more than the Glasgow side of the country then?

As regular visitors to Glasgow and Edinburgh (and other Scottish towns and cities), educated is educated, Glasgow or Edinburgh, same as Received Pronunciation in England. Not fond of chav (or Ned) speak at all.

Edinburgh has a lot of accents really. Like London. "

Thank you for the clarification. I'm a Weegie and whilst it's a sweeping generalisation, a few people I know who have visited both cities said the Glaswegian accent sounds a lot harsher and a tad more neddy!

No offence taken

I love any Scots accent but broad Glaswegian (probably spelt that wrong).

Also have a soft spot for Geordie, Welsh and Irish.
