I'll be perfectly honest. Mine grows too bloody quick and I am a bit lazy with the shaving. I am no hipster it's just the way of things lol.

I have a beard and it’s not a hipster beard. Just growing it back now and I’ll look like a ginger caveman when it’s done. Not into shaping it and all that shit. I condition it and that’s it. It keeps my face warm in the winter, stops the rain stinging and kamikaze Beatles/flies don’t hurt my face when I’m out on my bike. It comes off in the summer if I feel like it.

"I'm sure my beard is appreciated by some "

I appreciate maybe you can't be arsed shaving, perhap after getting stoned last night or being a football manager under pressure due to a string of losses, which is just good time management, but when it starts to look like Deseprate Dan peering through a hedge, as is the current fashion, then all appreciation goes out the bathroom window, leaving you only a Gillette Fusion as a hint.

Could not agree anymore. It’s bizarrely animalistic and not at all sophisticated or sexy imho x

My friend has a lovely beard and I’ve never had “friction burns” or any sort of rash whereas if a guy didnt shave properly I used to get very sore lips and chin, so beard wins for me everytime

I don't find that with beards. They tend to be really soft. Stubble tends to be the work of the devil though

Ohhh some people...

Beard is natural thing on men... If you don't like move on.... Someone here said, beard hides ugly face... What about you ladies who do make up, fake tan, fake eyelash, fake tits, fake hair ...do you call these as hiding your ugly body..if you accept that then we will agree your comment too.

I am a man and the beard does not get hours of pruning spent on it. It gets a slight trim when needed to tidy it up and that’s about it. I keep it clean which is the main thing to me. I have things more worthwhile to spend my time on

I'm not overly fond of facial hair but it does suit some people. It's people's choice obviously, but if I had the right to decide it would be a no.

Stubble on the other hand feels amazing between my smooth thighs!

Central

The skin irritations that guys facial hair can cause are going to be at epidemic levels, unless some men recognise that peak beard has passed.
