Nothing to do with swinging i know- sorry, but just need to vent a little.

24yrs ago my Dad went to sleep,, hardest day i ever had to get through,, had to be strong for my mum, help with bruv/sis,(disabled)sympathy cards had family names on- but not mine,, no one to speak too as mum sadly passed few year after,,theres no worse feeling when people ask how bruv/sis are-- i was their child too,may come across selfish- but i need someone to ask if i'm ok i'm the youngest and because i dont have a disability no one seems to care... it hurts..

KIDLINGTON

Sometime people do forget about the strong one in many circumstances. Maybe because at the time you put a strong front on in public.

Sending hugs on this day and I hope you are ok xx

The Samaritans are fabulous for listening and understanding. Give them a call, they will help and I'm certain you'll feel better.

It's hard being the one that everyone turns to in their hour of need. They forget that you need a shoulder sometimes too.

You're not alone and people do care so never feel isolated. You just need to open up to someone and, if there's no one close, pick up the phone and dial 116 123 xxx

People are sadly just misguided when it comes to things like this. They see you as the strong one and assume you're just doing OK.

You're never alone when you have us lot, so please talk when you need to, you don't have to be brave or strong if you don't want to, let us help dry the tears and offer hugs and tea.

Sending you the biggest squishy hug and my last pack of jaffa cakes x

Just to add to above. I'm a middle child and when we lost my mum, last year, I was the strong one, who dealt with everything. My siblings are not as strong. So I was and still do get the same comments as you. So it's a normal reaction from people. Take care and {hugs} to you sweetie

The Town by The Cross

Being the strong one does wear you out eventually. I hope you find time for yourself and that people begin to realise that you need time for you and that you can let go of the reigns at least some of the time.

I've always been the strong one here when times get tough.

Take time off ......... be missed xxxx

Perhaps you'd benefit from some professional help? It's a horrible thing that you have been through and you deserve to be more settled and content.

Sound advice.

Hope you find the strength to occasionally not be strong.

Even strong people cry....

Often when they are alone.

It's good to cry to feel to your pain.

Don't ever be sad about the person you are. Your strong because they need you. Because you change their lives.

Today if only for a few minutes you can change your own...

Sit reflect remembet laugh cry feel what you try to hide...

Today your Dad is proud of you he watches over you...and he always will.

I send hugs... but you change lives.... don't ever forget that.
