Some people seemed to enjoy reminiscing so I thought i would try a part 2.

Simply post something from your youth/childhood that you just don't or rarely see now.

I'll go for the Rubik's cube

There and to the left a bit

Missed part one - so apologies if any of this is a repeat:

Shellfish sellers coming round the pub

8 track cassette tapes

Floppy disks

White dog poo

Jumble sales - car boots and eBay appear to have replaced them

Kids being able to "play out" without fear

Government safety films scared everyone sh*tless.

Kids drowning, blowing themselves up, being thrown through car windows, being run over.

All aimed at traumatising kids in the name of safety.

Ironic that some featured Jimmy saville

TV programmes like why don't you when the Northern Irish group were pretty impossible to understand and a programme called we are the champions, they once did a handicapped special where my friend Kev couldn't stop laughing at it and was readily sent to this room by his parents who both worked with special needs children
