Sex is just a word.

For example, sex = either male or female. Sex = meaning the genitals.

Sharing an intimate moment with someone could be regarded as sex or making love. A simple kiss, a gentle caress is all part of sex.

Me personaly, I feel that if you're not up to your nuts in guts and the woman doesn't hobble away with a nasty sex limp, then its not proper sex

I can be satisfied without penetrative sex. I love foreplay and can quite happily leave it at that if I get to cum that way.

Kate though prefers to finish with penetrative sex. I'm quite happy with soft sex play, but Kate isn't.

So to answer the original question, then yes, sex without penetration is still sex, well to me it is

Sex without penetration is still sex.

You do not need to be penetrated or penetrate to cum. (although some do, so they say)

My opinion only.

Is this one of those 'I haven't been unfaithful because I didn't penetrate' questions?.......(did everything else though!)

"or just playing ?"

Sex is split into many different areas from oral, anal, masturbation to other areas. Intercourse is often confused with sex as it is just part of it. In general it ranges from sexual intimacy to sexual intercourse. But in short yes.

no not at all

i actually posted it because i lose quite a few meets because i won't have penetrative sex with other men

just not my thing - but so many will not meet unless u wanna shag the ass off them

i have received a few remarks along the lines of it not being sex, whereas for me i go with the 'orgasm' theory

If it feels like sex - then chances are it is sex. Interesting one when people are claiming not to have had an affair as it was "only" cyber sex... But in reality I guess it takes for two or more people to engage in some physical contact ?

Yes.

It's a bit like asking if penetration testing is a real job?
