Dating to me always means meeting with a view to a possible relationship, whereas a fuckbuddy is someone you meet with no intention of forming a relationship.

Casual dating sounds like neither fish nor foul!

I assumed that casual dating was going out and actually dating and having fun with no comittment. You can see other people as well. Low pressure non commitment relationship.

Fuckbuddy is a booty call type friend. You call up to have sex, that’s it. No dating. Friendship and liking the person of course. Friend with benefits! I wouldn’t date my friends etc
