So having stared for ten seconds at a coin spiralling around in one of those charity collection boxes, before it satisfyingly dropped in, I realised that some times it's mesmerising to watch certain things.

Oddly I love lava lamps...what strange things do you stop and stare at....I may regret this

My fire.. it's mesmerising

Especially tonight with no elastic trickery and no TV or music.

I’m quite happy to sit out on The Wash and watch the daylight appeare over the horizon, and the birds and day coming to life even in the depths of winter

Fires and lava lamps are good. A fishtank can hold my interest too, very peaceful. Gentle Waves on a beach too.

Love watching my ferrets messing about and interacting, and my cockatiels too..just bought a new one and he's sat on his perch (they don't live in cages..just 'free' in the shed on a perch) eating and eyeballing me..in fact, other than pissing about on my phone that's been my last couple of hours..just sat quietly with the birds, listening to the rain, watching them watching me.

The sun going down on a gentle surf as waves creep up the beach and the night is lit with golden fire...

It's even better to sit and watch it with someone else.

Murmurations of birds. Luckily they swarm outside my work window just before I go home. A nice end to the working day.

One of my residents had an attachment you put over your bulb which rotates and the lights appear all over the wall and ceiling. It's like a Xmas wonderland. It actually took my breath away when I saw it. It's beautiful x

The sea. Rough or calm. I like watching the white foam crawling up the sand as the tide moves it along. I find the sound of the sea very calming.

i like looking at clouds too.

Hiding in the shadows

I live on the coast, can happily spend hours just watching the sea

Sunrise & sunsets are pretty amazing some days.

Winter storms are breathtaking

Other than that, my crazy chihuahua puppy playing with her rag Teddy
