People who ignore profile requests

What is it about people that they can't or won't go by our requests in our profile? We waste time and effort talking to them and then they want only the female? It clearly states we only play as a couple... Really frustrating and insulting... It's not like there aren't loads of single females quite happy to accommodate..

Unfortunately not a great deal you can do to stop it OP - sadly there will always be salivating single males (and sadly it IS mostly those) that look at the pics, don't read the profile and hit the message button in the expectation of an instant invite.

All you can do is block any profiles that have patently not read your profile and apply filters (like not accepting messages from single males) to prevent it

We seem to be having a spate of interest from couples that clearly don’t match what we’re about. I simply reply thanking them for their interest and ask them what it is about our profile that they like.

As Gemini said, some folk seem to get excited by the pics then create their own little scenario of interest and completely negate what we would like as a couple.

Absolutely, I state will delete messages that have no content, so majority just start ‘Hi’ or ‘How are u’ not even a question mark with that one. May as well just get rid of the Profile for the majority on here

I think this is part of the problem. I agree that people should read profiles but the majority don’t and simply look at the pics and you have 14 public pics of which only two appear to be of the man and even those don’t show much of him.

If you want couples, then I would suggest you show a more equal amount of pics of both of you.

Perhaps having the pair of you in your profile picture may help set out expectations from the outset.

At the very least it may deter the persistent single males from giving unwanted attention.

In your profile write "if you send us a message include the header "we have read your profile and want to meet BOTH of you"

Any message that doesn't state that you don't even have to open, so zero time wasted.

There will be a percentage that only look at the pictures before messaging, a percentage of chancers who will see if they can get away with it. And there are the copy and paste mail bombers who just mail everyone on the search list.

Use your filters, and only reply to those that interest you.

We request on our profile for men with a gallery of cock pics not to message us. Had a message from a guy, with a gallery of cock pics, responding to our meet status, which we specified was only for men we had met before. In his profile he said that if his messages aren’t replied to with 24hours he would block because he regarded that as rude. But surely manners are a 2 way process? Why should we remember our manners and reply to a message from someone who has totally disregarded 2 of our clearly stated requirements?

If i was annoyed enough about getting messages from un suitable people, I'd be thinking about closing my filters and spending some time searching for likely profiles and messaging them myself..get pro active ya know.

I find the world tends not to bend to ones own will without a little bit of effort. Ideally yes, everyone would read and respect everyone else's profiles but it ain't gonna happen..if your not happy with it, change, don't expect the world in general to change for you.
