The furthest I've gone on a road trip? Hmmm I dunno....days and days of driving around Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. Road trips are something Marc and I really enjoy.

When we go back home next year we plan on a 2-3 month road trip around the U.S. with our dogs, sleeping in the back of a pick-up truck. I can't wait.

Why not? It will have a cover. And every few days we plan on getting a hotel room in order to shower. We've got it all planned.

We're going to get a mattress thingy that fits in the back. Marc's father uses one and says it's great. Maybe we'll venture up to Canada on our journey.

Hiding in the shadows

My longest 'road trip' cycling round Europe for 5months, on fully loaded touring bike.

Wild camping or staying in hostels.

Picked up odd jobs along the way, mostly bar/restaurant work.

I'd love to redo it all again one day.

Nottingham/and everywhere my location says i am ;)

A week long drive in a dodge challenger

Drove from "Deadminton"across the prairies and up into the Canadian rockies. Ending up on Vancouver Island.

Skinny dipped in lake Moraine, sat in thermal waters down logging roads miles from anywhere. Sat in a sauna at a hostel between jasper an Banff with a Canadian fella drinking maple whiskey then dive bombing into a glacial river..

Manchester

Fella here. Done a few in the States...

Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, California... Toronto, north to the TCH, over to Michigan, Minneapolis, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, New York... LA to Frisco along the Pacific Coast Highway. Also did a few weeks in the Aussie outback. I’m not sure which one was the longest but they were all great fun. The best way to really see a country is on a road trip. You meet real locals who don’t see many British tourists.

5 hours on a motorbike, on my way to storming the castle bike rally. Amused myself by chuckling at cars, as I filtered through the traffic jams.
