No. I knew where my husband was going, when he was cheating on me. Eventually, I got rid of him. I suppose it would help the people who want the evidence, but is it legal?

Can't you already track your iPhone?

No, because when my ex was cheating on me he still had me believing I was paranoid and wrong. It takes more than just knowing where he’s been x

Yes you can but both fines need the app on it, turned on and accepted. Samsung is much easier as google account stores everywhere you’ve been so you only need there login details and you can see everywhere they’ve been. But to the op question if someone doesn’t trust there partner and need to track them then they need to question there relationship.

If I was with someone and trust was so low that I felt I had to go to such extremes I would end the relationship. I have no desire to be in a relationship like that. I'd rather be on my own

Some people are paranoid about their partner, because of their own insecurities. My husband would follow me to see where I was, after sending me to the shop. He would have used a phone tracker and still accused me of cheating, even with no evidence.

Hiding in the shadows

I'd never track a partner, but both I have a tracker app on mine & my kids phones.

My best friend tracks me when I'm out - safety first!

My kids just think I have superpowers when I know where they've been

Yes I did and proved he was lying and cheating. He’d denied it up until then with everything sounding so plausible and even looking me in the eye. Kinda dents your ability to trust people after that.

How can people call it a relationship if there's no trust.so no I wouldn't track my partners phone.if I was that suspicious I would just end our relationship.

I can pick up my bfs phone and use it when ever i want.when I broke my old phone I even took his phone to work.He can also use my phone when ever he wants as we hide nothing from each other. The minute you start hiding things from each other is the minute your starting the beginning of the end of your relationship

How does knowing where your partners been prove they're cheating?

I think things like that are a godsend for stalkers, the insanely jealous and the insecure.

You either trust your partner or you don't. Still I suppose its cheaper than having them followed by a private detective.

So should she not trust him and track him??? !

If, the trust is gone and the person feels a need to use a tracker, then it's nearly too late , I'd have thought

I don't understand how that proved she was having an affair. It might have enabled him to ask some searching questions I suppose.

The minute you start to distrust and set traps the energy and dynamic of your relationship shifts drastically and this will affect your relationship. You WILL behave differently towards your partner. They WILL feel this even though they don't know what it is. They WILL be hurt by it. You're SPYING on them and testing them and setting traps. There is no relationship at that point.

If he thinks she’s cheating then he doesn’t trust her

If he doesn’t trust her, he shouldn’t be with her

Whether she’s cheating or not is beside the point.

I would never track someone's phone unless it was for security reasons, if someone is going to cheat on you, they will cheat on you, there is no stopping it, you just make yourself ill thinking about it.

Same goes for, going through people's phones, computers, tablets, diary, emails.

All of which my ex used to go through, even got the password for my Facebook account, funny, she was the one who cheated

If someone’s going to cheat they will, yes, but it’s good to know for sure especially when they’ve told you they’re not. Makes walking away a damn sight easier knowing the truth than the bullshit excuses and projection they came out with. Still hard walking away though. Another girl posted on fb 6 days later she was in a relationship with him - that wasn’t even who he cheated on me with, or at least I didn’t know about that one

I had a friend who suffered from extreme anxiety. She used to phone her teenage son half hourly when he was out and if he turned his phone off she phoned his friends. I dread to think what she would have been like if she'd been able to track him.

An ex and I used to do this with each other’s knowledge, it came in handy when we needed to know when the other was going to be home, such as from work for dinner for example, if you both have IPhones it has a feature built in waiting to be activated

But no, I wouldn't track her.
