From a conversation i had with sumone has got me wondering wots the average amount of threads people post on.

Sum people post on a lot of threads and sum don't post on a lot.

Is thar a thing as too meney posts ?

If so wot do you think it is ?

So.....

On average how meney threads do you post on a week. inclooding threads you start ?

Think my average is about 5-6 a day.

So 35-42 a week

Not Shor if that's good or bad

Not sure why that matters to be honest. It's not about quantity for me, more about quality. A lot of posts have already been done dozens of times, the same subjects going around over and over again.

I really appreciate original posts that make for a good read and interesting replies. They're usually done by people who don't post constantly x

Try to join in with lots of different things but like me, none of it is average!

After having been on here for over 11 years, I've seen pretty much every topic covered a multitude of times by various posters. Sometimes I just lurk and read through the more interesting ones, if something tickles ma fancy, then I will contribute (not always in a sane way though )

Anyway Mr Seeside, I'd buy you a pint and have a game of pool

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm inspired to start a load of threads and sometimes I just read.

I've seen probably every possible thread subject over the years. It doesn't bother me at all if they are repeated weekly/ daily/ hourly. There's newbies all the time and they won't know what has been posted before.

No idea how many I post on, if counted 'game threads' like Word Association, it's likely to be dozens of posts!

I have a few regular threads that I like to join in with but I don’t particularly start threads. Some threads I completely avoid because they’re just not of interest to me. If there are people that are obviously spoiling for an argument then I steer clear of that as well usually.

The same threads do resurface over and again but different people and new people post so it doesn’t read the same each time.

I don’t really know on average how many though Seeside. Never given it much thought
