Has anyone got any half marathon or 10K runs planned for next year?

I've done the London Marathon. Thoroughly enjoyed it, but not convinced I want to do another marathon. Half Marathons I am up for.

Not sure yet I've got Brighton marathon in April so will probably do 1 or 2 on the build up for that. Most likely Reading amd a smaller local one. After that i might do Milton Keynes if u don't do the full there too and a couple of other local ones that I always do such as Greenway challenge in letchworth. 10kms I only tend to do if they re local and I like the medal!

Done a couple of half marathons in the past four years, Anglesey Half and have done Trailfest twice, that was a killer almost 2500m in ascent and descent. Starts in Tanygrisiau by Blaenau Ffestiniog and finishes in Porthmadog, trail half marathon beautiful scenery, killer run.

I run trails and mountains rather than road then realised why pay some of the prices when I could just go and do it for myself, though there is a lack of social interplay then obviously??

I've run hampton court and surrey/woking half marathon in preparation for the London Marathon, and the Hillingdon half marathon a long time ago, but that's it. Would be interested in maybe doing a few others.

Get down to Cornwall and do the Eden Project Half - 12.5 Miles uphill by the feel of it but great scenery and a free pint and pasty at the end

Full island is 100km+, which can be done over 1 or 2 days. It's the first weekend of May x

Do you have to do the full 100km? Sounds like a pub crawl to me!

I was thinking of doing a 6.21 mile fun run, for charity next year.

I don't run, but 6 miles isn't that far.

Good on you. Still need to get a little bit of training in, start off with a small run/jog. And don't be afraid to walk if necessary.

Rhyl 10 mile, in February, and I'll be using that as part of my training for the Chester 1/2 in April

I may also look at the English 1/2 in Warrington a bit later on; and I'll throw in a few 10ks elsewhere in the year

Oblivion is an 8.5hour endurance obstacle race. As many laps as possible of a 12k, 122 obstacle course as possible in 8.5hours. Or commonly known as torture!!

Managed to get to my target time of under 2 hours for a half (Bolton time of 1 hour 56) so now aiming for under 50 minutes for a 10k need a race that’ll help me, as flat as possible.

Tough mudder and the wolf run both do 10k versions but they are killer! Hitting the wolf run again in January, the lake section is going to be freezing

Chester Half in April is a a great event.

Extremely well organised, and they have "muster" training runs as part of your plan, where you run with the race day pacemakers, and usually more than 200 of us get together
