If you could choose your filters

To every detail and only those types of guys/girls/couples/TV/TS would be able to contact you, would you do it, or would you relax them?

The filters would be permanent and neither you or other people would be able to make contact/message.

For example having a filter of 6ft+ means you would never be able to send a message to guy under that height and he wouldn't be able to send it either.

No. I have hard filters based on age, but my other preferences are fluid. I could miss out on a belter by being too strict .

No... I like to be able to adjust and relax my filters if I'm feeling open to being contacted and possibly meeting... And to be able to slap the lot on or even hide my profile when I'm feeling meh and would rather not be bothered by anyone... I doubt I'm alone in that

If it was that little amount then he would level up to the nearest inch and therefore would scrape through the minimum requirement!

I’d love one for smokers or not. Despite saying I don’t meet smokers I get loads of messages from smokers. I even met one where they’ve lied on their profile and I called an immediate halt to the meet. You shouldn’t have to but I ask the question now

No I like that I might connect with someone unexpected and I like having conversations with people where there is no physical attraction we just get on as friends.

I wouldn't want a permanent filter.

I enjoy chatting with folks off the forums, but on occasions I put my filters up to stop messages (usually weekends when the FAF brigade are on)

Distance could be useful, although I have no issue travelling to see a regular friend, getting messages from someone the other end of the country, seems quite pointless

Glad to see I'm not the only one gets messaged by people literally hundreds of miles away hoping to meet insane!

Happy to chat and make friends miles away via forum comments etc but it's bonkers to meet a stranger so far away.

there is what I think i am looking for- and then there are these "oh hold on" moments when you just through all your rules over board. I wouldn't want to limit interaction. I rather delete unwanted messages then miss out and restrict myself and my ever changing desires

I don't see why they would need to be permanent, technically it's just as easy for them to be made flexible.

I'd certainly vote for more filters though.

I need to look at my filters. When I joined and thought what I wanted is completely different to what I actually am attracted to.

*A filter for what day you were born is too much to ask for isn't it? And filtering out vegetarians, you can't trust them.

I don't really use my filters much as I'm happy to chat to anyone...fab is just as much about socialising as sex for me. So I doubt there's be a change....my block list is a filter
