Like you said really. Too much information. I'll happily post on threads talking about past exploits to a certain level of detail given the thread subject matter. I don't name anyone and I believe I have never refered to anyone off fab. You are doing exactly that with a veri. Anybody reading it knows who you are talking about and what you did. Personally I don't like that. A bit of suggestion is fine.

The person the veri was about put it up so they’re happy with it so it really doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about it except the two involved in the meet.

If I have a sexual meet with someone, I always request that our veris to each other are of a non sexual nature. What happens in bed stays there as far as I'm concerned. Some people take great delight in detailing everything that happened between the sheets, but that ain't for me I'm afraid. I like them kept short and sweet and i prefer non sexually graphic ones left for me.

The only thing that puts me off other peoples veri's is if there is more than 3 by the same person. I think that is clear lampost pissing so i'd not meet that person as it would make me think there could be drama ahead.

But other than that i'm all about perving cock

I won't dictate how someone writes their veris for me/us, if I find it too graphic then I can choose to hide it, so no issues there. I don't see the point in multiple veris from the same person, two or three maximum, it's great that it shows they are nice enough people to meet again but veris are to show they're real right? After three veris I'm sure that's proved it!

If you enjoy reading the veri and it makes you smile why not let them write it? Its up to you if you want to display it or not. If someone wants to take the time to show that they appreciate the time spent together I say let them

I think there are some Veri's that are in the euphoria of the moment, I would never show them. Others like social/club meets tend to give an indication of the person/people in the profile.

I like euphoria, to me it should be kept between the parties involved.

My veris tend to be quite detailed admittedly, but this is in every regard, both sexual and non-sexual. If I find someone highly appealing then I'll certainly let them know in my veri, fortunately I tend more to meet people who are the same way inclined towards me?

This is because in my mind the best thing about veris is that they serve as a lovely reminder between both of you, or more when meeting couples, of what a deliciously fun time you had together! The fact that they are a verification that you are genuine or offer a glimpse into what time in your company may be like for a third party reading through them is secondary.

I like reading veris because I'm nosey. Do I set huge store by them? .... no, but they can be helpful in building up an overall picture of someone you're interested in and it's not so much what's left for them I find but what they write for others - you can get quite a good feel for example of whether or not they're respectful and considerate from that. Some can be hilarious - I've even hotlisted people in the past just for their veris so as not to miss the latest instalment.

I prefer to write and receive reasonably discreet veris myself, with maybe a hint of naughty stuff included. Very explicit ones don't offend me as such but I don't want to know *exactly* how they might play things (and ruin the element of surprise) and neither do I want to give too much of myself away prior to meeting by broadcasting all my kinks!

Yep. But also yes i agree this forum can drag you into taking shots at people. You need thick skin sometimes. We've been the brunt of it more than once and it was direct. No one has been pointed out here.

Veris... You're damned if you do... You're damned if you don't... I don't care anymore. My veris are mine and I like them, whether they're social ones, play ones, one-off ones or repeat ones. I know the story behind each one and they make me smile, that's all that matters

Veries like everything on fab are optional and if anyone is unable to make their own decisions here about people without demanding references from others then do they do the same away from this site.

All they indicate is 2 or more people have met...those people will always have a different dynamic to our own meeting with them.

Yes. Really. Whether you like it or not. Or whether you take heed of veris or not the fact remains as you quite rightly pointed out, it proves that 2 people did infact meet. Therefore you can be quite confident that someone with a number of veris is not a fake profile. Quite an important tool on a site that is free to join and no doubt attracts lots of fakes and timewasters.

Do people demand references away from this site? Yes of course, in certain areas of life. We use references in all walks of life including Jobs and eBay but to name 2.

And we don't demand a verification on here but the site offers it as a filter which we do use. Optional

We don't like them and it tends to put us off those who display them on their profile. We are all adults and we know what goes on. To us it shows a lack of respect for the person they played with it if they write descriptive details of what took place in private.
