Does anyone else on here paint and draw?

Wondered if anyone did any art and what mediums they prefer or subject matter?

I am just in the process of revisiting a drawing of predator from the films and am enjoying messing about with the textures.

What about you?

I prefer doing landscapes, but like the occasional detailed drawing every now and then.

I was talking about the things I wish I could do with someone the other day. Not to any level of mastery but to a basic standard. Draw and sing were my two.

And at the risk of thread drift, I take a half decent picture. I have a desire to buy a film camera again. Medium format.

I used to draw so much, mainly pencil drawings. I loved art at school and wish I kept my portfolio. I did a drawing the other day and rather surprised myself

Yeah me too. I have the darkroom.

But I can't afford a phase one...

So a Mamiya afd would work.

Currently I use mamiya medium format lenses on a Nikon body..

use too, weirdly you ask today I was looking at some water colouring and oil painting. Thinking I need to take it back to my early teen - preteen when I use to love drawing before distractions kicked in.

Oh I haven't been in a darkroom for years. Used to love it. I was lucky enough to study when my local college still had both B&W and colour dark rooms.

I don't even look at Phase One backs

Love drawing and art, used to do a lot of graffiti art and anime stuff when younger, my daughter now has a huge passion for art which I'm well chuffed about, sadly due to my MS and shakes I can't draw anymore but fully appreciate anyone's creativity

I do ...

But then I cry when I see the prices...even second hand they cost more than a car.

But what a really want to do is giant sized prints so it's MF or 5x4

The dark room is primitive.. B&W only.

And the Nikon is digital so I can use capture one

I did a little playing around with 5x4 but when I buy it will be medium format.

Mamiya RZ67 for still life work and a Pentax 645n for out and about.
