"Always bake minced pies and Christmas cake from family recipes that are generations old. " I tried to use different recipes for Christmas Cake and Plum Pudding once (just for a change) and my family almost rioted. My recipes for those are generations old too. Mince Pies though are all my own imagination lol. | |||

Ply it with more drink for a couple if weeks and then slap some marzipan and icing on and voila... I still do the spikey icing and silver balls,so everyone can chip a tooth... Omg I love gnawing on hard icing... "It so much nicer than the roll out stuff... Althiugh if you add a little glycerine it makes it easier to cut.. And shards of icing are less likely to take an eye out. X | |||
