Okay... going to try and put this in a manor that doesn't give anything away....

okay.. if you saw people you know.. on the television doing something that you weren't expecting... would you let them know that you'd seen the programme?

If it is in the public domain, then why not?

yes, as if they made it public then they clearly don't want it to be a secret any more

I think that I would. In fact I did once.

There is someone that I'd seen & vaguely knew online on Kinky & Proud which was shown on Virgin 1 & I think that they've repeated it once or twice on another channel. She was on another site so I messaged her & said that I'd seen the show to which she was most pleased that someone had seen it.

I know that this is somewhat different as it was in the virtual world. As for the real one, then I think that I'd do the same & I'm sure that I'd get the same positive response.

Unless it was Crimewatch of course.

King's Crustacean

Depends on how well I know them and what the thing was they were doing.

Sometimes it's nicer just to know and for them not to know you know.

I once saw a woman on cam, shoving a Budweiser bottle, up her arse, thankfully she wasn't anybody I knew. How would that conversation start? especially as when she pulled it out, it had company

Put me off looking at cams for some time hahah

Yep,

friendship is about sometimes letting people know they are either being a bit foolish/embarrasing/loud/smelly etc etc.

Obviously its how you say it, they may not feel too happy initially but will probably say thanks later.

Does their appearance on TV have the potential to cause a negative impact on their life or my life!

I guess perhaps a gauge might be, how you view spotting someone attending a football match when you know they should be at work,,,, against how you feel about spotting someone playing football who you know claims invalidity benefit….

If they are risking being caught and losing their job, that’s their problem so, no I wouldn’t say anything too them…..

But paying tax to give to fraudsters is my problem, so yes I’d report them an tell them I’d done so!!!

If there were on the tv you would think they would have understood that the chances of people who know them seeing them would be 50/50 and have weighed up the pros and cons , so yes i would say I had seen them . That is supposing they knew they were being filmed in first place and what they was doing , hmm having said that after the riots if it was a Police thing with pics then yes I would still tell them I had seen them on tv after I had told Police but thats just me .

I once saw someone I have known for about 15 years on Jeremy Kyle. She was telling everyone about the problems she was having with her teenage daughters behaviour only thing is she doesnt have a daughter just 2 sons and they arent teenagers either. I asked her about it when I saw her later that week she said she was part of the audience they paid her to go on and act it all out.
