"Excellent game. Hope arsenal have a decent season - that's been my favourite game this season just for the entertainment. I can't believe we lost! Such a great game with a deserved red card. I thought we were unlucky, but the defence were half asleep for the first 10 minutes. " I wouldn’t say unlucky, they defended badly and were wasteful in front of goal, De Gea played well but that’s what he’s paid to do.

"Less overpaid mediocre soft lads rolling about like they've been run over at the slightest touch, I support my home town club, shite or not" Yeah but unfortunately everybody can’t support their local team, I grew up in an area in Ireland where there was no professional clubs. I’ve supported Utd all my life, and like you I’ll support them shite or not ![]()

"Typical Arsenal performance, lots of nice football but no reward, this is why they won't win the league " I thought they were better than usual. Apart from the 1st 10 minutes when they just weren't on it, they played excellently...and de gea made 14 saves... Great game...both sides contributed to making it what it was.

Now carry on as you were. ![]() I’ve got no problem supporting your local club and I agree these clubs wouldn’t survive without local support. Growing up as a child in Ireland everyone watched English or Scottish football as that’s what was on tv, league of Ireland football was not televised I live in London but I travel to approx 10-15 Utd games per season, I also attend most of their away games in London. I was at Watford on Tuesday and Arsenal yesterday, I attend a football match most weekends not just premier league, I’ve been to Leyton Orient, Barnet, Enfield town. Premier league teams couldn’t survive like they do without ‘tourist fans’, do you think Bournemouth( or any club) would be willing to give up their share of overseas tv rights because it comes from ‘tourist fans’. If clubs were expected to survive on gate receipts alone then I’m afraid Bournemouth would struggle as they have the smallest stadium capacity in the league.

I much prefer lower league football and I know I won't be able to afford Premier League prices if that's where this season's journey takes us. I'd go and pay my money to Merthyr if I lived closer as I know how desperate they are for funds and every bit adds up. I bet you have some old grounds on that list of 80 that are sadly now houses or shops.

I fooking hate the premier league with a passion full of people the think football was invented when the premier league started and they can stick sky up their area while they are at it. I work with many Cardiff fans that stopped going when you left ninian park.. and yes done yours, somerton and the vetch before they were bulldozed, all very dodgy back in the day.

"There is definately something that is latent gay about guys (supporters) who wear a shirt with another guys name on the back of it. Having the name on the back of a shirt coupled with a team that begins with Arse and a managers name who begins with Arse it is only logical that Arsenal fans are all at least latent gay. Nothing wrong with that of course however surely it would be better if the team wore tight pink vests and tight high cut shorts and all had moustaches. ![]() Moustaches and tight high cut shorts sounds a lot like 1980's football league. ![]()

"Support who the hell you want and ignore any grief from others. Having a go at others for being 'plastic supportes' on here is a bit pathetic in my opinion." Bravo. Football has changed, there's now so much live football on TV now you can watch any team. Obviously back in the day, with no games on TV you'd go watch your local team, not like that anymore. I get so tired reading this boring argument on the internet all the time. What impact does it have on anyone else if another person supports a different team. Get a life.

I agree I think in those circumstances leave the manager alone speak to his assistant manager or the captain. With regards to Arsenal the problems have been obvious for about 5 years 2 good defenders to go straight into the team and 2 good defensive midfielders one straight into the team the other as back up or play both in a game where the opponents attack is better than yours.
