Nothing I felt guilty not being with my son last year, so this year we will have a takeaway and snuggle together. Dreading it if I’m honest as my mum died this year but at least she was here for most of the year, going into next year without her is going to be horrible.

Lucky you! Will probably have a quiet one. Used to love the house parties when I was younger. Don't really like going out, I always feel there's too much pressure at New Year to have the night of your life.

The Garden of Eden in Beautiful North Wales

I'll be heading southwards towards Devon/Cornwall, then back up a day or so later and along the south coast, south east and up towards the north east, cross country towards the northwest and finally back to wet and windy North Wales. I'll hopefully spend an evening or two at various stops and meet some new friends from all over the UK.

So, if you fancy a break from the christmas boredom, switch the kettle on. Tea or coffee both black, 1 full teaspoon of sugar but... I dont drink crap and it has to be made, not thrown together!

NYE in derby is dreadful, like really really shockingly bad so I will be mostly stuffing my face with chocolates and getting my arse kicked on the Xbox, which I did last year too and enjoyed every minute of it
