I daren't incase I'm ill or the weather is bad,no-one would end up with anything and that would be awful.

Hull

Xmas is now a yearly breakdown of communication with my family thus I have given up getting and sending presents for my family!

I'll send cards to them but will be lucky if I get cards in return by May. As for presents I gave up sending gifts 2 yrs ago after almost 10 yrs of none from them!

Food shopping for myself is done the week before Xmas.

B & M Bargains

I used to spend hours shopping now I just buy any old shite, no-one cares what I get them anyway! The person I spent longest thinking about last year quite clearly spent 3 mins in a retail park buying mine as part of the 3 for 2 deal at boots. Bah humbug

Exactly that, people stress over what to buy for who. Why? You see them once a year and it's only to swap crappy tat gifts

The stress over Christmas Lunch....it's just another Sunday roast, the same as you've cooked many times throughout the year.

It's too much like hard work, you only ever seem to be doing it all for other people, most of whom will either not appreciate it, or judge your performance.

Fuck all that shit. We're saving the money for mini-naughty'a arrival, and eating fish n chips.
