There's a new Veet for underarm and bikini.

The other so called "sensitive skin" Veet was dubbed "napalm for the genitals" but with this one I have had no negative experiences.

Bookmarking this! I've tried everything... exfoliating the skin before shaving helps with ingrown hairs but I get horrendous shaving rash, regardless of direction of shave, using shaving foam / gel, moisturising afterwards etc.

I bought an epilator three months ago to try but the pain is so much that I can't inflict it myself (if anyone would like to do this for me please speak up!!)

And my skin is sensitive to waxing, I tend to bruise from it, which looks awful

I know a lady who has all her bits lasered, no rash and hardly and regrowth. My tongue just glides over her skin!

Shave with gentle pulls of the razor. If the hair is slightly long then lots of gentle pulls are better than one hard one.

Re-balance the acid levels with apple cider vinegar (with the mother), diluted into a spray bottle, spray onto the area and wait for a minute or two.

Wash the area with clean water.

then use a repair moisturiser like Cicaplast b5.

Do it often.

Yep, another one here.

My skin is ok with waxing, but my therapist has moved away and I am reluctant to try anyone else as I’ve experienced a bad wax and terrible bruising

Waxing - not expensive & not particularly painful

If your bruising from waxing it because the skin it not being pulled tight enough... I would suggest hot waxing.. I use this now and it definitely feels less painful and im finding the ingrowns are a lot less (still get them though).

Newcastle

Whether I shave or wax I still get ingrown hairs. I've exfoliated and moisturised my skin to within an inch of my life and it still doesn't help
