i dont notice the date stamp i spend ages looking for salt content in food. my daughter has an intolerance to too much salt in her diet. every label has to be read and checked against other brands to find the lowest.

Fortunately there are more low salt products appearing on the market, I have to be careful due to high blood pressure. The worst offenders that I have found are cuppa soups

trying to find gravy was fun the salt content in some. she likes chicken pies and the shops own brand was the best option
