No I wouldn't be happy. Incompatible sex drives appears to be why most attached people are on here or cheat. Thinking a highly sexed person can manage with little or no sex is surprising at the least.

If it was a permanent difference, no. They wouldn't be 'the one' for me then. I understand that things can affect it though and I'd hope we were close enough to see it through with understanding.

I'd give up sex for affection, companionship, not being lonely and having someone to face the world with me. So long as we got on well, laughed together and had affection I'd be happy

Me too, unfortunately the no sex can also mean no affection too, and that’s the bit I find it most difficult to deal with.

I thought I could deal with it, but the fact I’m here shows that it’s harder than I thought

I don't know. There are too many other factors to take in to account.

Does the hypothetical me have a lower or higher sex drive than my partner, does the one with the higher sex drive get angry and frustrated with the other, do we have children, are we otherwise affectionate and loving, is sex satisfying and enjoyable when it does happen? I could go on.

Relationships rarely end for one reason in my opinion, there's usually a straw that breaks the camels back. I suspect sometimes the straw is mismatched expectations where sex is concerned.
