Don't you want it to end because it's been so good..or can't you wait for it to f#$k off over the horizon?

I am strongly in the latter group.

Hull

This year looked like it would be as bad as last year.

But it has worked out very well and life is good again.

I welcome 2018 in good spirits!

A world of my own

I'm hoping that I don't start 2018 with bad news.

Its a waiting game.

2017 has been full of struggles. However its also had some triumphs too, especially for my boys.

I'm just going to try and focus on and enjoy every positive.

Best Greggs in Cheshire East

Mixed year. Great first 8 months or so. Last few months have left a lot to be desired.

Not meeting

April-June were bloody awful!!! Watching Frank go through a stem cell transplant then his recovery. Since then it’s been the best year I’ve had in a very long time

I had a triumph in May, climbing Ben Nevis with 2 good friends, shockingly they both died on their way home in a light aircraft crash, so from the highs of our achievement to the lows of losing 2 good friends 2 days later, I will never forget 2017 but will be glad to see the back of it

Nervous if I’m honest.

I dj’d a local pub last New Year’s Eve for the first time in years and a much bigger pub have requested me and my ‘legs’ for their NYE this time. I have five or six hours to fill.

There have been lots of good parts with plenty of laughs and giggles and also some bad parts with tears and memories.

Mixed emotion. Lots of changes took place for me. I've learned some of my strengths and weaknesses.

I've accepted a few things too.

I've also made some of the best friends in the world. I'll shut up now before I end up blarting!
