As I was sat in the pub earlier farting away, quietly I hasten to add, I was sniggering thinking I asked about the wrong type of wind this morning

So where does that wind come from?

Bacteria in your gut. They all have little tails called flagellae that they whip round to help them move. That causes a strong breeze and has to be expelled somehow.

Certainly did tonight. It was blowing a gale in my pants. So many bacteria so little time
