And no you filthy lot I don’t mean farting! I’m sat here with the wind blowing a gale outside and just complemplating why, where does it come from, what makes no wind, a bit of wind or a gale?

Wind is caused by a difference in pressure from one area to another area on the surface of the Earth. Air naturally moves from high to low pressure, and when it does so, it is called wind. Generally, we can say that the cause of the wind is the uneven heating of the Earth's surface by the Sun.

I'm not a weatherman. But, clouds effect the movement of air. When low clouds roll in it pushes air around causing gusts of wind. If you can imagine dropping a duvet on your bed, you feel a gust of wind. It's a little like that.

It's either all the butterflies in the world flapping their wings at the same time or something to do with the planet cooling and rotating and the moon pulling the oceans upwards.

Personally,I think it's the first explanation because, as we all know,science is just one theory among many.

They need to turn the giant fans down a bit and turn the global warming back up. Niagara Falls have frozen.
