When you try your best but its all in vein. Wont get much sympathy and dont expect it but im giving up on this site. Not great meantally at the moment so its not helping me either. Ive done everything i can to try and get a meet. Being nice and writing three paragrapghs being intresting has not worked either. I feel i need to write this to get it off my chest. I may return but i doubt it at this point. All the best to you fabbers.

Well good luck then.... but in the (very short) six weeks since you've joined you've had a meet and a few cam veris so actually think you doing rather well, but if your expectations are higher than that you will be why you are disappointed perhaps. Take care out there x

You’ve been verified by more people than you’ve been here in weeks, so you can’t say it’s not working for you. If your head isn’t it, then hide your profile and leave there in case you feel like you’d like to come back. Everyone who leaves, comes back sometime. Get yourself out of the house and have a long walk and clear your head.

Im not disapointed as such just very hard going for me at the moment as im not great mentally. So ill take a leave of absence or a long break see if can find my self again.

This is my 2nd time on this site so got revaried in a hurry but my 1st account took me 6 months to meet anybody. Try local clubs. Stay on site and put to taking a break. Time to think.

The guy says he’s not in a good place mentally, it might be a call for help. His post may, may just be what is needed to stop the trigger in his head from going one way or the other. Don’t be taking the fucking piss out of him.

Perhaps you would like to read the OP’s opening post whereby he says he’s not in a good place ‘mentally’. That when he said it first and that’s what I was talking about and when he posted it the second time that he wasn’t ‘mentally’ in a good place.

OP here's a really crazy idea. Why not stay on fab but change your objective 180 degrees. Instead of concentrating on what you want, concentrate on what they want. Be interested in people for friendships sake and just forget about sex for a while. Fab can be a wonderful place to meet some really amazing people.

This isn’t the best place if you have self esteem issues or are looking for positive reinforcement or to feel better about yourself. It’s an artificial world with a huge herd of men and very few women. Just chat on here. Relax. Use this as a vent etc but don’t put pressure on meeting.

OP seems there's two strands to this- one to be taken seriously the other not so.

To deal with the not so seriously one first - you say you're struggling to get meets and yet have only been here 6 weeks and have 5 veris, one of them an in person one, hardly a sign of struggling by Fab standards. On that point whether you stay or leave is entirely up to you of course, but think you'll struggle to get any sympathy about it if that is what you were looking for.

On the second, more serious point, if you're not in a good place mentally and Fab has something to do with that then yes the best thing to do is walk away - whether that is by going UNLOS or just hiding your profile and not logging on is your choice but if this place is really getting to you that much continually coming back is not going to help.

I missed the bit where it said he was married ?

Rightly or wrongly a lot of guys do join here thinking its a shagathon but most seem to work out within a couple of weeks that it isn't quite like that and either leave or try and be polite etc to garnish a meet.

Some are luckier than others in getting meets and some just continue to be assholes and never meet anyone and end up using this place as a bit of light hearted free pic site.

OP it is a good move to hide your profile and take a break from fab.

Fab is a great place but if you are feeling down it can exacerbate those feelings and make you feel much worse. You really do need to be in a good place to get the most from being on here otherwise it will drag you down further.

Take some time out to focus on your health and wellbeing. Talk to your GP or even a call to the samaritains if you feel you need to and don't be too hard on yourself. Having depression or any other mental health issue isn't a sign of weakness - it is normal and anyone can get it.

Be kind to yourself. We will see you if/when you feel ready to try again with fab.

Hi all i have been checking in. Took time out by hiding my profile. Feel a bit better, no meets by sympathy from this post. I was in a bad place when i posted this but thanks to all for your concern/input. I have made a pen pal who keeps in touch and asks how im doing. Will be hiding my account again shortly until i feel better to use it properly.

Without trying to sound like we’re having a go mate, this is a swingers site not just a hook up guaranteed shag site.

Some single guys have been on here years without a meet, but are genuine swingers so stay around for the swinging banter.
