Because you mention you have contacted everyone matching your own description.

It’s something that I often wonder about with people contacting us. Why bother if you aren’t what the other person is after Far too much effort and waste of time.

Fab is 'useful' in fits and starts; sometimes there are profiles which fit your bill, other times there aren't. What I do is block any profile in my local area, that either I don't match them, or they don't match me. I'll message the people I am interested in, and if that doesn't work out (for whatever reason), they get blocked too. This way, you always only concentrate on people you are likely to meet, and your local searches aren't 'clogged up' with unsuitables. In the 'dry' times, I hang out in the forums
