Although I've never been fat or even chubby, I was on a "dad bod" trajectory until when I was 26 a passing lighthearted comment from a relative about the beginnings of a male muffin top made me completely change my eating and exercise habits, something I've stuck to for nearly 10 years now! I still have cheat days and go out drinking on my free weekends, but the rest of the week I keep it in check and train hard in my twice a week gym sessions.

That argument doesn't stand up because "better" is a totally subjective term. Personally, I'm into girls with curves because I just am, it seems to be biologically wired. That doesn't mean I've never fancied a girl who was straight up and down, or clearly worked out a lot and was a little more cut, but by and large, I find bit of curvature sexy.

It's not what the media might say is the most attractive, but to me it is. I understand some women will say dad bod to appease a partner or potential meet, the same way a guy might too, but it's not all dishonest. It takes all sorts.
