Guy Martin

I have just caught a clip for the Guy Martin vs the Robot car.

I am not normally a fan of car programmes but I find his enthusiasm really appealing. So much so that I know I will be watching it.

It helps that despite his dodgy side burns he is easy on the eye too lol.

What do you watch more for the presenters than the actual programme?

I love watching him, he's so enthusiastic, knowledgable, and slightly bonkers. I've always appreciated him as a racer too. His exploits on the Isle of Man always keep me entertained.

I wish I could be Guys friend. I have read and watched everything he has done. Being an engineer I see things his way and understand his inquisitiveness completely. He is a dedicated mechanic and such an enthusiast its infectious.

"He built a tank!"

That was really interesting programme.... I bet Lincoln city the birthplace of the tank regret not allowing him to drive it on armistice day up the high street....

Or was it coz he's from Grimsby...

Leicester

I met him last year at Scarborough, but his aspergers wasn't on his side that day so he wasn't one for talking much. But he still went out his way to say hello, just quickly and briefly.

I've met him lot's of times, always at Oliver's Mount. Luckily for me, never raced against him though

Must admit though, i think he's a great TV presenter because of his passion for what he does and that passion rubs off on you as watch whatever he is presenting. Will never get over how excited he was when he was crawling into the air intake of a Vulcan bomber.

He was good in the Williams pit crew documentary, - & some of his comments would have to have hurt moto gp fans!

Greater Manchester

He is one of my major crushes.

The accent, the sideburns and just general enthusiasm for everything he does. He's stunning.

Helps that Mr enjoys watching the programmes he does.

Seems like Guy has quite a following on here.

I have seen other programmes by him and as someone who's interest in cars goes as far as what colour is it, the fact he can get me to watch the whole thing is impressive.

Only seem to have seen him do things with cars not bikes.

I liked his trip through India too - but it was to compete in a bike race
