For just odd, I'll throw out The Art of Noise and Max Headroom - Paranoimia. I have a strange affection for a particular mix that appeared on one of the Now... albums, 7 I think.

Malcolm and Angus Young of AC/DC had a 2 other brothers that were responsible for writing hit songs for other bands. One of them wrote some really famous disco hits.
