Had a free HIV test as it’s national testing week. Came back negative but I would urge you all to do the same if you don’t already!!!

This is the purpose of my thread. I know it’s not just HIV that’s an issue, but it is the most serious of STD, and it’s so easy to use a testing kit at home which is 99.7% accurate

All others are done at my local SN clinic.

It's all free.

I don't understand anyone who is sexually active with more than one person, whether you take precautions or not, not to get tested every few months

They think condoms make them invincible. Or that only gay men get std's.

You can get home testing kits BUT they are often a little over sensitive and can give false positives. So beware of that.

It’s so easy to get tested these days that anyone that’s swinging or having casual sexual encounters should get tested 3 monthly even if you play safe- STIs can be contracted through oral sex

Totally agree! Condoms help but that doesn’t guarrentee safety, also most people forget that oral sex isn’t risky too

For people who bareback casually then I guess they won’t bother.

I took photos of the test results of 2 of them and had a text with the results of others to show someone. Wasn’t needed in the end but it’s good to have and good to ask for if you decide to go down that route with someone.

I keep my results also x

For people who bareback casually then I guess they won’t bother.

I get tested for everything every three months. This includes wether or not I've had sex. Things don't always show up first time round.
