Their 5p carrier bag is no more, no more 5ps going to charity.

Only one you can buy now is a 10p one where the whole 10p goes to....... Tesco.... no charitable donation, pure greed

East Sussex

We mostly shop in Aldi where there has always been a charge for carrier bags.

Are they bags for life in Tesco or just the standard disposable ones?

Where would you go instead, wasn't Sainsbury recently outed for being dishonest about how much of the carrier bag money went to charity?

Unless I'm wrong no supermarket has to give money to charity it's only a government suggestion. Didn't Sainsburys get flak for claiming they didn't because of the cost of their bags to produce dye to being of higher quality!

There are two barcodes on the bags for life. The one hidden underneath shows as “replacement bag” and has no charge. In the rush to get through self service checkouts, mistakes can be made...

Tesco bags are indeed the bags for life.

So if your organised you will only pay it once
