At last!

After 6 and a half months from being made Redundant, and 591 job applications later, I've found work!

I only applied last Friday, had my inter_iew yesterday and though the company said I'd be informed by this coming Friday, they called me today to say I'd got the job!

I start next Monday. It's a new route for me, a different type of job, but one into which I can transfer existing skills and, as the recruitment manager said, "experience of life!", into the job.

It isn't the perfect job, but it is WORK, it gives me financial stability again, but above all, I regain my pride!

I'll sleep well tonight; I can relax!

Many thanks everyone for your comments and good wishes.

Barneyguy: I never mix my business and personal lives, so there's no chance of me doing what you mentioned!

There's always a "downside"; I won't be on here so often, so you all behave now!

As if you'd listen???
