That's easy. You wouldn't even need a plumber for that, just a couple of spanners and some PTFE tape

I’ve done our kitchen tap twice, it’s quite easy to do.

Quite easy Hun. Screws are underneath usually in middle of tap. I could have a look if you wanted. But it’s a pretty easy job to do x

If you’ve never done it before you’d never know, screwed on underneath, you’d have to get right under the sink and look up to see them, it’s quite fiddly but very doable, might be easier to take the sink out, attached the tap, then place it all back and hook up the water feeds.

Ye gods. Good luck in finding a tradesman who actually turns up. Nothing in my life, was a stressful, as the 3 years it took trying to renovate my house alone. They either leered at me suggesting payment in kind, or never turned up again

Don't, if you've never done it you wont know.

When I changed my mixer tap there was a a nut holding the tap onto the sink.

Then there was two flexi pipes that came from the tap and onto the main water pipe.

All that was needed was a couple of spanners.

Don't forget to turn the water feed off first though. The stop tab shouldn't be far away unless the person who did the first mixer tap was clever enough to put some penny valves on first

Lol. They are fiddley little nuts to get off. But once it’s not slam against a wall it will come out easily. You normally get flex pipes with new mixer taps which in some cases eliminate the static copper pipes that connect directly to old taps. As previous poster mentioned. Water off before hand As before if you wanted I am in Sheffield at the moment and I’m not dressed in lingerie for a change lol

usually on a silver flexi pipe ,you might need a tap spanner to undo and do up , only a couple of quid , just take time with rubber seal , bit of vaseline to hold in place

but if its copper pipe directly to the tap with soldered joints youll need a plumber .

Beware of tradesmen, claiming to be 'working' in your area, whilst really perving on a sex site
