I'm on sick leave at the moment and my assistant who I got promoted and a pay rise as taken over some of my duties. This is the person who said I'll always have your back and now according to members of my staff she's really lording it over them and slagging me off.

I feel very upset and let down at the moment.

I know I should grow a pair but I so want to have a go!!

I don't think I'll fit into em tbh, I've got pretty big feet.

Almost sounds like she's on a bit of a power trip while filling in for you. Not much you can do away from work I suppose but you can always put her back in her place when you're back.

Shame that someone you've helped has turned out like that though

Ah the first day back.

You come into work all fresh and at your most charming best.

Everyone else tired and grumpy and fed up with your stand in.

You make a few changes that you know will be a hit and reclaim your position as the leader of the group.

Everyone knows you know what’s been happening but you elegantly rise above it and your team, once agin, regains it’s efficient, cohesive dynamic.
