Please help, i'm keen to fit in.

It’s been a while since I’ve been on Fabswingers and I’m hoping some of the new faces I see on the forum can let me know how things are on the site in general these days.

I made some great friends on here previously, but to be honest there were a few people who just put me off the whole thing.

Everyone I actually met was really nice and I love swinging, but to be honest some of the people on the forums were beyond belief.

There was a lot of sarcasm went on, and it was really, really obvious that people had formed what we called “cliques” and were ganging up on people – it got to the stage that they were all emailing each other about me behind my back and pretending they weren’t. They even had the gall to deny that these “cliques” even existed!!!

Some people used to get incredibly het up about the smallest of things and gigantic arguments would break out. Often threads had to be closed by the moderators, it was a real shame.

Bullying used to be another major problem, and the poor moderators could only do what they could.

To be honest I felt so bullied I felt I had no option but to stop using Fab for a while.

So I guess my question is, that hopefully all that nonsense is behind the site and the forum can be the fun place it used to be.

Can anyone here shine any light on the current ‘state of play’ for me?

Have to say, I love the forums. I find them a great source of entertainment. Have made a few very good friends on them as well. Havn't witnessed any bullying, as for cliques yes some people know each other, but its like that in life in general, but if you make the effort and join in and have fun, then there is no reason for you not to like the forums as well

Apparently the things you mention are still live and kicking but come on - its only a swinging site. Dont take it to heart. I really dont let what anyone says on here give me more than a moments thought. Welcome back. There are plenty of nice friendly people on here. I laugh at those who are sad enough to take it so seriously they have to form bitching parties. Hilarious. Hope they discuss me.... they do say there is no such thing as bad publicity

If the forum was getting u down why not just enjoy the site for meeting people. I guess all of this should be taken with a big pinch of salt and not take it too seriously.

We can all get a bit jaded from time to time. Sniping and bullying is a tricky thing to control.

Nice ur back though!!

it got bent at weekend am afraid

sandals aren't as cheap as they used to be ya know - and i couldn't decide between the open toed 'jesus creeper' classics or the closed toed lattice effect (with comfort soles). so i had to have both.

pissed me right off though - i couldn't find any beige socks anywhere
