Ok ladies let's show our solidarity like Phoebe, Monica and Racheal for all the times our hearts get stomped on by Mr idiot. And for 'over reacting' when we are sold fully concentrate pop only after the 3rd taste finding out it's actually a supermarket savers bottle you wasted shopping space on.

Let's metaphorically burn the photo's. For all the times we remove a brick for someone in our wall only to lay 3 more tiers when they smash it. Extended to anyone not just ladies.

Your awesome, amazing, last thought of day, first of morning, reams of messages, hearts, hours of chat, to I want nothing

Then when I put my actual feelings forward for such treatment. I am over reacting.

3rd time trying dating beyond fab clearly stating seeking relationship to start off with that burning emotion to barely being an ember. I was clear from the start, expressed reservations from the get go only to be given the sales pitch of a luxyry yacht to end up with a dinghy.

I'll have my day of venting, then he'll be shelved like the rest. The wall will go back up.

Romance and effort died cause of technology and phones.

I miss handwritten letters. My hubby still writes them to me when he's away but I agree the art of romance is dead!

Well I would agree had it not been very over the top to start, but you can't claim someone over reacted for falling for it.

Go in either reserved n closed for nothing or don't give it. The chemistry was defined by him from the start. Then over each meet back tracking so yes, in this case it is one's persons fault. I did not falsely sell myself. He did. The effort of the things I were sent were not the actions of someone who wanted nothing. He wanted everything a girlfriend gives so I gave the effort for it. To turn into an affirmation, personal shopper, counsellor, PA for mothing. Go figure.

It sounds as if he changed his mind over time. At least hes made it clear now. Always difficult if things dont turn out the way wanted and/or expected.

Anyway, thanks everyone. I feel far calmer now. The comments are definitely food for thought. I think occasionally the empathy people offer can often make things less dark.
