Is that also the excuse why postman leave the letters stuffed only halfway through my letterbox?

I delivered papers as one of my first jobs. If there was a dog going mad, I’d tease it by waggling the paper, play tug of war then walk away smiling after letting it win and hearing it shredding the freebie paper.
